About INTEK Rasmussen

Since our founding, we have continuously evolved – from a specialized provider to a modern full-range supplier for hygiene and cleaning solutions.

• In the late 1960s, Walter Rasmussen founded the company. The product range initially included truck spare parts and the sales representation of Georg Fischer trailer couplings.
• In the 1970s and 1980s, the expansion to include high-pressure cleaning machines and cleaning chemicals followed, opening up new business areas.
• In the late 1980s, the business was taken over by Hamburg businessman Dirk Schultz. He introduced modern IT systems and relocated the site to Liebigstraße in Hamburg.
• In 2013, the Dane Lars F. Poulsen took over Intek and consistently expanded the product range to become a full-range supplier for hygiene papers, hygiene supplies and cleaning equipment.
• In 2015, the company moved to Glinde into a modern building with high-bay warehouse, 2,000 m² storage space and 700 m² office and administration space.
• In 2024, the company became part of Abena A/S headquartered in Denmark – an important step to further strengthen international orientation and innovation power.
